ShipDiff is an independent, one-operator service built for product managers, founders, and growth marketers who don't have time to manually check competitor changelogs every week.
How it works: we watch each tracked competitor's changelog, release notes, blog, and pricing page daily, diff what changed, and use an LLM to classify the type (pricing / feature / positioning / fix) and rate how much it matters. Every item gets a plain-English "why this matters for your product" line, written using the product context you give us at checkout. See a real, unedited sample.
The pipeline is ~95% automated; a human reviews output quality weekly — we'd rather catch a bad classification ourselves than send you noise. Want anything above a severity threshold pushed to Slack or Discord near-real-time instead of waiting for Monday? Reply to any brief and we'll set it up.
The free trackers on this site show the same underlying detection engine on public data — headline, type, and severity only. The "why it matters" analysis is what the paid brief adds.
